German Shepherds have been part of our family for almost 30 years. They are friends and protectors as we spend much time with them every day. German Shepherds are highly intelligent, easier to train than most breeds, and ready to please. Our dogs have been used for various sports and work such as agility, tracking, obedience show competition, conformation showing, schutzhund, helpers to people with handicaps, search and rescue, K-9, therapy, and LAST BUT NOT LEAST, COMPANIONSHIP.

Our dogs take pride in their owners and look to them for companionship and approval. German Shepherds have had a reputation since World War 2 for their loyalty to handlers, obedience under command, and bravery when needing to protect. They are best suited with handlers that can give them individual time, training, and attention. Like any dog, if left to themselves in a yard with no socialization or interaction, the owner will be disappointed in the outcome of the dog's behavior. As with all high quality breeds, the final outcome of the dog depends very much upon the owner's commitment to their dog.

   Here at Fine German Shepherds we use dogs in our breeding program that have been highly scrutinized in their health, temperament, and beauty. We only use massive built, large boned studs that have been certified free of hip dysplasia from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.( O.F.A.) Our females are also certified, temperament tested, and free of health problems. When a client gets a dog from us they should expect the dog to be healthy, socialized, from lineage that is world acclaimed, and reaching the very maximum in size and structure allowable for the AKC gsd standard. Occasionally our males are oversized, reaching 115 pounds, and there are many people that like this larger build and structure. If you are matching your choice with the purpose to conformation show, we would assist you in picking a pup from the available litter that will not be oversized.

   We have had an overwhelming positive response from past puppy owners. We hear rewarding stories from new owners that have taken home one or two puppies to be part of their families. We have received reports from my follow up calls that everyone's dogs are balanced in temperament with exceptional beauty and intelligence. Our dogs are usually the "super stars" in training classes, making dog class a rewarding experience for the pup and owner alike.

   We have a written health guarantee on our pups. Each pup gets individual love and attention from birth which is the recipe for great personalities coming out in the litters. We make sure the puppies are properly immunized and wormed before going to their new homes. All pups are AKC registered. We do take deposits to hold a position on a pup before they are ready to go to their new homes. We do not allow the pups to leave until they are 8 weeks old for local customers and 10 weeks old for shipping.
